Last week, Wednesday, in Home Economics we made "Mini Applesauce Muffins". Unfortunately, I wasn't with the group where I am normally with because we all we're put in other groups due to lack of members in their groups so our teacher split our group up.
Ingredients:
- Applesauce
- Wholewheat Flour
- Baking soda
- Baking powder
- Eggs
- Butter
- Cinnamon
- Chocolate Chip
- Milk
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees
- In a bowl, mix in the dry ingredients; the wheat flour, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder.
- In another bowl, melt the butter then add in the milk, applesauce and eggs.
- In a large bowl, where we're gonna combine both mixtures together, add the wet mixture on the dry mixture.
- Fold it, after folding put mini paper cupcake holder on a tray.
- Put the mixture in halfway then add the chocolate chips then put more batter on it to cover the chocolate chips so when you bite into it the chocolate chips will be melted in your mouth.
- Bake it for 10 minutes then fan bake it for 5 minutes.
Each group have different recipes, some used soya & butter, soya & wheat flour, oil and plain flour etc. We had the wheat flour with regular milk. We had to go around different cooking stations to taste and identify the ingredients and find out which recipe we liked. I think our one is the best one not because we made it but because it had more flavour to it, most of the group's muffins are bland, some didn't even fold the mixture well that's why I tasted raw baking powder which made the muffin awful and some were undercooked.
