Bone in Our Hands - Science - Hurumanu

In Science Hurumanu, we've been learning and studying about the main bone parts of the body, such as the bones in your hand, arms, hips, legs, thigs, head, etc. We are currently studying it on Quizlet.com, doing tests, spellings, writings, matches. 

Why bones in our hand is important? And why the human hand is important? The bones in our hands provide support and flexibility to the soft tissues and cell on the hands. The human hand is important because it gives us a very powerful grip to use to be able to hold things, to be able to do things, to move and grasp objects, be it a delicate object, heavy object, sharp object, small, big, etc. 

How does our handwork? 

It starts of with the muscles in our forearms, the thin tendons of the muscles are found on the hand directly. The extensor tendons are used for stretching the hand, it runs through the back of our hands as well, that are used from the tip of our fingers, through our palms. 

What are tendons? 

Tendons are the fibrous connective tissues which are attached to the muscle and bones in our body. Tendons are the cause of the movement of the bones or structures. 

What are our hands made out of? 

Our hands are made out of a total of 27 individuals bones, there are 8 carpal bones (bones on our wrists), 5 metacarpal bones, (the five group of bones), and 14 fingers bones.

This is the creation of me and my friend, do it yourself hand demo. 

To be able to make this, cut the printed hand, follow the lines, cute the straws and stick on the hand using a tape. After sticking the straws that you've cut, cut the yarn string and then put it through the holes of the straws and then stick the end of the yarn on the back of the hand with tape.
