Signs and Hazard - Creative Manufacturing


What is a hazard?

Hazard means danger, harm or at risk, it causes harm to people, could be one, two or more. It can be both caused by humans or the environment. 

You can find hazards in the workshops with the machines and materials or objects in the workshop.

It's not also the materials that could potentially harm you, it could also be a messy workspace, machinery left unguarded while in use, not having proper clothing, not having a guardian especially for students and etc.





1. What is a Mandatory Sign?


Mandatory signs (colour blue signs) - If you want to prevent being in danger or in a harmful situation, you must follow what these mandatory signs are saying rules. You will see these signs on the road or construction sites or workshops.











2. What is a Prohibitive Sign?

Prohibitive signs known as a no sign or no symbol is a red circle sign with a red diagonal line across it sign where you are not allowed to do such things or activities. You will find these signs in public places such as malls, restaurants schools and etc.










3. What is a Hazard Sign?

Hazard signs are yellow-coloured signs that warn people about the harm of one or something can do, such as locations, poisons, or objects and etc. You will find these signs near active volcanoes or buildings. 













You should also look out for danger signs, emergency information signs, fire signs, and warning signs.

    You explained everything in detail and it makes alot of sense, it is also good that you added a picture so people know which sign is which.

    I like how detailed your explanation was based on all these signs, for example you mentioned where you would find these signs. I like how clear you explained and what they would mean you also described what they look like. Maybe next time with lay out you don't need to separate it that much.But overall it was amazing I got lots of information about signs and the pictures made it obvious and clear what they look like.

    I really like the way you explained the meanings of the signs that are included in your blog post. You explained all of them in different ways and also tell us what all the different signs looks like. The other thing that I like was the pictures and videos that you put in.
