Students should choose their own seat

Scientists have shown that if students were to sit with their friends, they would have an enjoyable time/day. And to add to that,
Firstly, I want to talk about improving students’ social skills, if you choose to sit with your friends, there wouldn’t be awkward situations. Being with your friends is comfortable, who would want to be with people they’re not comfortable and not close with?
I understand the concern some teachers have but if you would trust your students, you will have a better relationship with them. If you have seating arrangements and you let a group of students who are friends sit with each other, the other students who were put into seating arrangements would think that you are biased. Furthermore, students should be treated fairly whether or not it is based on their attitude, knowledge and learning. I think that students would appreciate it if the teachers are not biased. If you want your students to behave properly then do it in a proper way of educating them.

For starters, you are struggling with something, your friend can help you get back on track. If you have a problem or if you don’t understand something, you and your friend can figure it out together, moreover, that would strengthen your bond together.
You see, not everyone who sits with their social groups are that bad, they do sometimes talk a lot and if they do that is the time to separate them, don’t embarrass them in front of the class, instead, go to them and just quietly tell them off, who knows it might even teach them to be responsibility.
I am a student myself and when I sit with my friends it puts me in my comfort zone, they also bring out the best in me. Trust me, your school year would be way more fun if you’re with your friends. I even think that students work harder and are more focused when teachers are not disrupting them or butting in.
In conclusion, it would help the students in a lot of ways, especially with their well-being. If we want to have a better hard-working, focused and fun environment, as teachers, you need to start the proper way of disciplining and educating.
