What assumptions, beliefs and values does the illustrator bring to the text?
That kids should be at school, being educated, learning but instead they are to fight in wars in order to attain justice and rights.
What view of the world does it show?
It just shows that the world is not perfect. That there are families suffering from humanitarian crises.
How would the text be different if it were told in another time, place or culture?
It would still be the same. Because even though the time, place and culture is different, nothing will change with the disaster that is happening.
