Every Thursday, we come to school at 9:40, well that's our school time but we can go earlier than that to school, until the end of the term. We carved a koru out of a stone, it's one of those soft stone that you use for carving. Monday was when we started carving and working, it was pretty fun, there's no school tomorrow because it's holiday! Anyway back to the carving thing, we almost finish the stone. I designed a Maori Design, I have two choices, it could either be a Mangopare (Hammerhead) and a Pikorua (Twist).
I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 9 and in 2021 I will be a year 10. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Hello Skyler!
ReplyDeleteI liked reading your blogpost about what you have done with Group A in Passion Projects. It sounds like you are enjoying working with Oamaru stone. I wonder if next time you could include an image of what you have carved?
I am looking forward to seeing everyone's finished projects!
