Vegetarian Nachos - Home Economics

 In our lesson in Home Economics, we made Vegetarian Nachos. 

Ingredients: 

  • 1/2 Onion 
  • 2 - 4 Mushroom 
  • 1/2 Carrots
  • 1/2 Canned beans
  • 1/2 Canned Tomato (chopped) Sauce
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste) 
  • Corn
  • Peas 
  • Cheese
  • Sour Cream
  • Corn Chips
  • Oil
1. Cut half of an onion in minced. 
2. Sliced the Mushroom. 
3. Shred half of a carrot.
4. In a pan, add in your oil, wait for it to heat up, put the minced onions in, wait for it to caramelise then add the mushroom. Basically, you're going to saute the onions and mushroom.
5. After the mushroom had a brownish tone to it, add in the peas, corn and your shredded carrots. 
6. Add the beans and tomato sauce, stir it. 
7. Wait for a couple of minutes then sprinkled some salt and pepper, about a pinch. 
8. After it's cooked, assembled the corn chips then pour in the sauce you just cooked. 
9. Grate a small block of cheese and sour cream then you're done!
