How Do Deal With That Make You Angry? - Wananga

Have you ever had one of those times or situation where someone said something or did something to you that pushed your buttons? That made you angry? Or if something didn't work out and it made you upset? Well, we're going to talk about that in this blogpost.

For example, a friend told you something hurtful, let's use "You're really stupid" phrase. To deal with these particular situations is you either fight back by saying or doing something that will hurt them or you can smile, say "thank you" and walk away. There are more examples of dealing with this kind of situations.

These examples are or could be:

  • Walking away
  • Smile
  • Saying "thank you"
  • Doing activities that will calm you down
  • Taking deep breaths
  • Ignoring it
  • Find someone who can give you advice or someone you can lean on

Violence is sometimes not the best way of dealing with conflicts or arguments, it's always not the answer. We need to have the ability of self-control because violence can make the problem or issue worse and it will be more difficult for you. Violence is only good for self-defence. What I'm trying to say is that there are other ways of solving an issue, you can talk to them in a well-mannered way and showing respect even if they don't show it to you. Be the better person, be the BIGGER person. If it really is something that is unacceptable and really hurtful, then maybe you need to et those people go, you don't need people like them because when one left, there will be someone better that will come in your life.

  1. Well said Skyler! You have made some very good points here, paticulary araound violence. Keep proof reading your work (I know we completed this in a hurry). From what I can see, you react extremely well in times of conflict. Do you agree? Are there times when you use these strategies?
