To be successful in marketing and selling your product; product that people would want to purchase. It won't be that easy to achieve, you will have to go through steps, one of the key things in business is about producing your products or service, making it recognizable to the buyers and efficient for them.
In our lesson in Business Studies, last week, we started learning about marketing and selling. We comprehended it deeply, our teacher showed us a couple of clips to show and make us witness how it works.
To show our learning, we had to make an advertisement about that topic and there were a few selections of products that we had to choose from. We can work individually or in pairs. I chose to be paired with Rieya because I know that we can work well together, brainstorming both of our ideas will make a good result at the end because we are able to merge our ideas and improve it into something presentable and good. The selections were rubber/elastic bands, jandals, skipping rope, tissue box, playing cards, hot water bottle, cup. We chose the playing cards because the both of us enjoy playing cards, we know how to play with them and we've noticed that not a lot of students in our school knows how to play it and we're pretty sure that worldwide, the majority don't know how to play it as well. They may know the basics such as the label of the cards.
We used "Canva" and shared it with each other so we can edit it.

Sugar
How much sugar are we eating per day?
A person's average intake of sugar is around 77 grams, more than 3 times the recommended amount for women.
How much sugar is recommended per day?
For men, it is recommended that they consume no more than 9 teaspoons of sugar, that equals 36 grams or 150 calories.
For women, it should no longer pass to 6 teaspoons of sugar - 25 grams or 100 calories per day.
How to reduce the amount of sugar we eat each day?
Carbohydrates
Simple, Complex, Dietary Fibre
Simple Carbohydrates
Simple carbohydrates are the kind of carbs that break down faster than the complex hydrates. Once they are broken down they are converted into energy to provide for the body. This type of carbohydrate can be found in all sorts of foods.
Such as:
Complex Carbohydrates
Complex carbohydrates are foods that contain sugar molecules. It provides vitamins and minerals, it is also rich in fibres and low in sugar, these are called “Good Carbohydrates”, they are good for your body and immune system. Foods such as dairy, nuts and seeds, whole grains, fruits and vegetables.
Dietary Fibre - How is it important for the human body?
Dietary fibre is beneficial for the human body because it maintains our bowel health. It increases the weight and size of our stool in other words faeces. This decreases the chance of constipation so fibre leads to good digestion and good bowel motion.

For the past few weeks, we've been researching famous entrepreneurs and putting information about them in a draft then transferring it to our final presentation.
This is my slideshow.
The entrepreneur I researched about was Steve Jobs, I wrote down about his early life, the skills and qualities he had as an entrepreneur, the challenges and battles he faced and his success. I also have put down the websites I got the resources from.
Have you ever had one of those times or situation where someone said something or did something to you that pushed your buttons? That made you angry? Or if something didn't work out and it made you upset? Well, we're going to talk about that in this blogpost.
For example, a friend told you something hurtful, let's use "You're really stupid" phrase. To deal with these particular situations is you either fight back by saying or doing something that will hurt them or you can smile, say "thank you" and walk away. There are more examples of dealing with this kind of situations.
These examples are or could be:
How the dish was made:
1. Cut the vegetables (that you chose to put in your stir fry) in julienne. We chose cauliflower, carrots and mushroom, the members in our group didn't want broccoli so we just didn't include it in. The carrots were cut in julienne while the rest was cut the way it was supposed to be cut.
2. Cut the chicken in strips, we used chicken breast, each group had a chicken breast each.
3. Marinate the chicken strips in sesame oil (btw sesame oil is sooooooo gooooood, you should try it).
4. Cut the onions to dice, the specific name for cutting into small dices is mince (minced onions).
5. In a pan, saute your chicken and onions, first add the onions then the chicken.
6. While that chicken is cooking, boil the noodles in the water, we used one pack of noodles.
7. Once the chicken is nearly cooked, add your vegetables.
8. Put the seasoning on the noodles.
8. Wait until the vegetables are cooked then add your noodles, stir it then add a little bit of soy sauce.
9. Stir it until it's cooked, it took us 15 - 20 minutes to cook.
Ingredients:
Sensory Evaluation:
Sight: The stir fry looked really good, the colour of the carrot made the stir look vibrant, it's a bit on the dark side because when you saute food, it's going to look golden brown-ish. And it's probably because of the soy sauce since soy sauce is a dark coloured sauce.
Smell: It smelled like sesame oil, it's because we used sesame oil.
Taste: It tasted really good, you can taste the carrots, the seasoning on the noodles, which is chicken. The taste of the sesame oil was really powerful so it tasted more like sesame.
Touch: Crunchy because of the cauliflower but a bit on the soft side.
Hear: It's crunchy when you bite the cauliflower.
Rate:
I would rate it 9/10 because the cauliflower was not cooked properly, it's a bit on the raw side.
Next steps to improve:
Next time, what we could improve on is time management, we didn't have time to cook the cauliflower longer because we only had 10 minutes and we needed time to eat it as well. Maybe we could've added some greens but most people in our group don't really eat greens.
