In English, there was one task in creative writing about "Slam Poetry". We had to watch a total of 4 clips and share with others which one we liked the most and why.
What is Slam Poetry? Slam Poetry is a form of performance with a combination of writing, competition, audience participation, theatre. The poems are judged based on the performance and not necessarily the writing.
Out of all performances I watched regarding slam poetry. The one I enjoyed the most was "The Poetry Slam Matariki 2014: Te Kahu Rollestone Performs". The reason why I liked this video the most was that it's very inspirational, I can tell that the speaker/performer was really proud of his culture. He explained what has happened in society nowadays, he also explained through his performance the difference of the society back then and now.
