CIP - It's Cool To Be Kind

Last week for C.I.P (Community Impact Project) our CIP group were having a Mufti Day for around the school. All of us had two options either we make posters or D.L.O (Digital Learning Object). Bh (The name of one class in year 7 and 8's block) put up all the posters from around the school and for the people who were making a DLO, posted it on their blog and it's also on the TV (TV here in highschool are where we put up important information that had happened in the past, some upcoming events and some achievements). The Mufti Day will be happening tomorrow, 8th of August, Thursday.

For the planning process, we were into groups no more than 4, we brainstormed ideas of what the theme could be; wearing for Mufti Day. My friends and I had a few ideas. I had a lot of stuff in mind that I thought everyone has in their closet.

• Black & White (B&W)
• Denim
• Edgy
• Bright Colours
• Pigtails

We all then our ideas to the class, we also voted for the best theme. The majority won, we ended up with the theme "Radical Rainbow".

We are raising money for Kids Can, a charity/program that provides children with their needs from all around New Zealand.

To have a successful Mufti Day, we need to follow the theme, bring a gold coin for donation and have fun.

We are spreading kindness to the community by helping and donating money for a program that helps children from all around New Zealand.
