English: The Yellow Brick Road pt1 (lockdown)

In English, we have to do a work about an interesting topic called "The Yellow Brick Road". The reason why it is intriguing is that I only know a certain brick road, which was shown in the film Wizard of Oz.

We had to read a short story titled of Yello Brick Road and answer questions in regards.

Witi Ihimaera is a New Zealand author, novelist, short story writer, anthologist and librettist. He was born in Gisborne, in the east of New Zealand. He was the first Maori to publish books of short stories about being a Maori and not a European, using this aspect as an incentive to develop his skills as a writer.

A few of his works have been adapted to films such as Whale Rider (2002), White Lies (2013),  Déwé Gorodé: Écrire Le Pays (2015), Kawa (2010) and Mahana (2016).

Prior to Yellow Brick Road, before reading the story, the first thing that came to my mind was, of course, Wizard of Oz. Though I haven't seen the whole thing, I have small memories of it and I do have little knowledge about it.

In my opinion, I think the story of Yellow Brick Road by Witi Ihimaera will be about an exciting and overwhelming journey of people and the stories of their lives about to unfold.
